Discover the origins of Mecca, Arabia at the advent of Islam, the ancestry of the Prophet ﷺ, the introduction of idolatry, the Abrahamic legacy, and the parents of the Prophet ﷺ.
A sequential telling of this story means that we will cover the birth of the Prophet ﷺ, and the first 40 years of his life, including marriage and family. At age 40, we enter Hira with the Prophet ﷺ to discover the impact of first revelation and witness the preaching of the first messages. As the first community develops, we share the pain of Bilal, the change of Omar, the sacrifice of Sumeyyah, the steadfastness of Ali, and the Sidq of Abu Bakr.
