Description:
This course is conducted annually prior to Ramadan to prepare Muslim sisters for Ramadan. The course is aimed at encouraging sisters to benefit from this most blessed month and teaching the fiqh rulings of fasting.

II - The Fiqh of Ramadan
- Virtues of the month of Ramadan.
- How to receive the month of Ramadan.
- Important events in Ramadan.
- The benefits of fasting.
- The spiritual significance of Ramadan.
- The spiritual significance of fasting.
II - The Fiqh of Ramadan
- Establishing the beginning and completion of the month of Ramadan.
- The legal ruling of fasting.
- Conditions for a valid fast.
- Circumstances that invalidate the fast.
- Circumstances that do not invalidate the fast.
- Offensive acts while fasting.
- Acts that are considered offensive but are not.
- The sunnan of fasting.
- Those not obliged to fast Ramadan.
- Fedyah (compensation for missed fasts).
- Kaffarah - retribution for intentionally violating the fast.
- Sadaqat and Zakat ul fitr.
- Laylatul Qadr.
- The performance of `Eid prayers (Salatul -'Eid.)
