A 2 day course with a practical focus. The final word on the Halal and Haram of food and additives, after this course you need not look any further. Cover all the pertinent contemporary issues related to food, additives, and cosmetics The chemical composition of food and additives Ingredients and their sources Scientific tools of identifying halal and haram ingredients Basic Legal concepts and precepts you need to know to safeguard your diet. The objective of the course and its outcome is that the student who completes the course has a clear understanding of how products and ingredients as well as additives are made and sourced. Students will also acquire the skill of applying Fiqh principles to ingredients for future application; thereby giving them the tools to understand what makes an ingredient haram and what makes it halal.
